With over 20 years of experience in multinational corporations and executive management, including board-level positions, Ivo also worked in a Big4 consulting firm and one of the largest Czech family-owned businesses. This background gives him deep insight into the realities of decision-making at the highest levels of organizations – the pressure to perform, complex interpersonal dynamics, and the isolation often accompanying senior roles.
As a coach, he provides a safe and trustworthy environment where leaders can become aware of their habits, think strategically, and actively develop their leadership style. He incorporates mindfulness, which for him is not just a technique but a life philosophy and a path to conscious decision-making and sustainable performance.
In addition to coaching, Ivo serves as a lecturer in leadership programs and mindfulness courses. He teaches Strategic and International HR Management at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, and at CEVRO University. He brings a pragmatic approach and practical business experience to the academic setting, bridging theory with real-world leadership and people development.
Ivo studied Business Administration at the University of Economics in Prague, with a minor in Managerial Psychology and Sociology. He continued his studies in Strategic HR Management at Sheffield Hallam University and completed his managerial education with an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
He has been coaching professionally since 2008, accumulating over 1,000 coaching hours in both Czech and English. He is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
